For the past 3 years, I’ve been chronicling my life through a daily self portrait. The first three years are posted on deviantArt, and this year I’m posting previews on blogger, following up the next day on deviantArt! I still take the photos each day, and it has been an amazing journey of self-discovery as well as a great learning experience! I wanted to become a better portrait photographer, and it must have worked as I landed a job as a portrait photographer (which I’ve since moved on from, corporate bs and artistic freedom have no place in the same job…) I think I have really taken this project and made the most of it, I’ve never caved and just done a quick ‘myspace’ type photo, I always plan out and think my shot through, even if sometimes that inspiration only takes me as far as ‘sit in bed, put camera at end of bed, shoot picture’…
